Some may wish to take a more active leadership role by serving on the working Board of Directors. Others may choose to become members of the foundation or volunteer their time at special events or fundraisers.

You can make a difference for your library by joining the foundation on their behalf. Libraries with directors, volunteers, or  members in the foundation receive a higher grant level than those who choose not to participate.

And, of course, contributions of money, property, or bequests to help build the Foundation Endowment are always welcome. 

You can also use your influence in the community to encourage others to come forward to offer their leadership and substance to this endeavor.
